They are annoying to deal with as they will pretty much ignore walls, go underground to prevent damage and make defenses re-target and with their hitpoints in combination with a Healing Spell they are also durable one-hitting building after building in groups.How does this base deal with miner attacks?

Miner attacks are made or broken by funneling & time. If the funnel is not right or it takes too much time to build it, there’s no 3-Star possible anymore and that’s exactly what this base uses with the compartments at the left and right side.
The attacker needs to roughly wipe out one-quarter of your base to have a good funnel at the bottom where to send the Miners in for the Town Hall.In the center, we have the Bomb Towers and the Infernos paired with the Wizard Towers and a lot of DPS incoming paired. I Have A TH9 Almost Max ( Only Heroes Remaining ) So I Came Down The League To Farm DE From Dead Bases. I Only Farm DE, So My Mines And Pumps And Gold/Elixir Storages Are Always Full And I Usually Have Plenty Of DE In My Storage Everytime. ( I Am Upgrading Both Royals Simultaneously ). As A Consequence, My Base Offers Lots Of Loot. Other High TH Players ( TH9+ ) Who Also Came Down For Farming DE Take Advantage Of This And Drive a 3-Star On My Base.I Know You Don’t Have All The Time In The WorldBut Please Try AgainThanks For Your Support. Not much chances here, the general problem is the clan games that will put so many ppl in the queue that Town Hall is less priorotized by the algorithm and will hand your base to higher town hall opponents – there’s no way you will ever survive a TH11 or TH12 hitting your base with the goal to get stars from it (for challenges).You could place your storages on the outside and hope for a cheap shield, but that’s not in your favor when you want to upgrade.
