Aside from Skywind, which is a remaster that will recreate the game of Morrowind it self entirely, ESO: Morrowind is doing something closer to what Shadow of Morrowind was trying, which is to recreate the island of Vvardenfell in a different timeline.Since Vvardenfell's decimation from the Red Year, the island is pretty much uninhabited and there isn't much to do with it during Skyrim's time, since there's barely any permanent residents. In ESO's time, the island has started growing due to economic prosperity and other notable events. Lots of new quests and re-designed locations, as well as new fauna and brand new locations are on the island, so it might serve as a form of a replacement for Shadow of Morrowind.If the mod was completed, it would be interesting to see how the finished result would turn out, but due to the eruption of Red Mountain there really isn't much to work with. In the previews I saw, it seemed like the mainland part was only there so you could walk to Vvardenfell, but if it was meant to be a fully fleshed out zone, it would have a lot of potential.
ESO includes the inner parts of the mainland, and aside from Vvardenfell the region of Thornmarsh could also come to the game, which contains the southern parts of the mainland.Beyond Skyrim is creating areas outside of Skyrim for exploration, and they very well could work on a zone in Morrowind, but there isn't very much news on development of regions aside from Bruma for the mod.
